Mystery bheind pyramids

The pyramids of Egypt have been a topic of interest for many years. One of the biggest mysteries concerning the great pyramids is the big void in the great pyramid of Khufu, it is a chamber above the king's chamber around 100 feet (30 meters) and appears to have not been entered or damaged by tomb raiders¹. Another mystery about the Egyptian pyramids is the construction techniques used to erect them.

The incredible feat of the Egyptians is all the more impressive when taking into consideration that over 2 million limestone and granite blocks were used to build the Great Pyramid of Giza.

Some scientists believe these pyramids were a home for humans because temperatures were warmer 100 years ago, (up to 20 degrees Celsius). Other theories suggest that pyramids were used as large warehouses to store gold, jewels, grains, and valuables of the wealthy. The pyramiuds were also believed to be a source of energy to connect the Ancient Egyptians with their Gods.

They were also believed to be a place of protection to keep the bodies of pharaohs, kings and queens as a pathway journey to eternal life.
